Having a shared login with someone else or allowing another person to use and interpret under your account is a violation of Jeenie terms and may result in being removed from the platform. If you have someone that would like to interpret on the Jeenie platform, please direct them to jeenie.com/interpreters/ to signup. Know your Interpreter ID and have it ready if a client asks. You can find your Interpreter ID under your picture on your Jeenie profile page at app.Jeenie.com. For mobile devices: Make sure your phone’s Do Not Disturb setting is OFF. Make sure Airplane Mode is OFF. Make sure the Jeenie app has access to your camera and microphone. Check your device’s Settings. Make sure notifications are turned on for the Jeenie app. Check your device’s Settings. ALWAYS Make sure your phone has the ringer turned on and your audio volume is up all the way! For desktops/laptops: Use either Google Chrome or Firefox as your web browser (these browsers have the best compatibility with Jeenie). Make sure your browser settings have the following set to Allow for app.jeenie.com. Notifications Microphone Camera Pop-ups and Redirects (Chrome) Open Pop-up Windows (Firefox) To check your browser settings: Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > View permissions and data stored across sites > Search for app.jeenie.com and you will be able to see and edit all permissions (For more troubleshooting steps, see Troubleshooting Web App - Chrome) Firefox: Settings> Privacy and Security > Permissions. You will need to click on each permission and ensure app.jeenie.com is allowed under each.
