Protecting Your Privacy January 31, 2024 18:47 Updated The privacy of all interpreters on the platform is of utmost importance to Jeenie. Customers are never informed of your full name, your location, or contact details. This information is strictly confidential at all times. The only information customers know about you are your first name and last initial (as you have entered them in your Jeenie profile) and your Interpreter ID. You can find your Interpreter ID under your picture on your Jeenie profile page at app.Jeenie.com. Never disclose your personal information (such as full name, location, or contact details) to a customer, even if asked. This includes providing your email address in order to send you a link to take a call from the Jeenie platform to another platform (such as Zoom, MS Teams, etc). If a customer asks you to take a call from the Jeenie platform to another platform, you must tell them that is not allowed and they will have to pre-schedule any appointments that will take place off the Jeenie platform. Disclosing your personal information, or joining an off-platform link*, is a violation of Jeenie’s terms and could result in your removal from the platform. If a customer asks for your personal information, inform them that you are not authorized to disclose that information. If they ask where you are located, you are able to tell them that you’re working from a secure and private location and that Jeenie is headquartered in Washington DC but you are not authorized to disclose your location. You can give them your Interpreter ID and refer them to support@jeenie.com for assistance. *This only includes links given to you by the client, not links given to you by the Jeenie team Related articles Maintaining Your Performance on the Platform Checking Your Connectivity Before You Begin Recording Calls Earning Fees for Your Services
