To help with this, we recommend the following for added protection to your account: Use a Password Manager Passwords should be unique and unpredictable. Using a password manager is the easiest way to set a strong password. It also allows using different strong passwords for all your logins without having to remember all of them. Choose a Strong Password If you can't use a password manager, we recommend using a password that’s at least 12 characters. Avoid using the following as passwords as well because they’re easy to guess: A word by itself Recent years Straight rows of keys Sequences like 'abc' or '6543' Repeats like 'aaa' or 'abcabcabc' Short keyboard patterns Names and surnames Context like the website name Dates Update Passwords and User Access Regularly For all users, we encourage changing your password from time to time. For organizations that manage multiple users, we encourage administrators to remove admins and users who are no longer with the organization or who no longer need access to Jeenie. Change Your Password If your organization has provided a generic password for your first-time login, we encourage you to update your password for security. To change your password, log in to Jeenie. Go to app.jeenie.com or the mobile app and login with your existing credentials. On the left-hand side of the screen, click the icon with three horizontal lines. Select ‘Settings’. At the next screen, select ‘Change Password’. Enter your current and new passwords and click 'Save'. At your next login, use your new password. Jeenie App: Reset Your Password Open the Jeenie mobile app and tap 'Sign in' at the bottom of the screen. At the next screen, just below the sign-in section, tap ‘Forgot password?'. You will be prompted to input the email address associated with your Jeenie account. Note: It is important to make sure you are using the appropriate email address as this is where the reset password link will be sent. Check your email. You should have received a Reset Your Password email from no-reply@jeenie.com. Click the ‘Reset Your Password’ button in that email. Input the new password you’d like to set and press ‘Update Password’. Login with your new password. Jeenie via Browser: Reset Your Password Go to app.jeenie.com and click 'Forgot password?'. Enter the email address associated with your Jeenie account and click 'Send link'. Note: It is important to make sure you are using the appropriate email address as this is where the reset password link will be sent. Check your email inbox click the button that says 'Reset your password'. Choose the password you’d like to set and press 'Update Password'. Login with your new password.
